What You'll Learn

This nationally recognised qualification prepares individuals to work in a variety of entry level business roles, performing administrative and operational tasks under supervision within an office or business environment.

Learners develop factual, technical and procedural knowledge to support business operations, including effective workplace communication, customer service, use of business technologies, and organising work priorities. The course builds the skills needed to apply established procedures, exercise some judgement, and work in accordance with organisational policies, workplace requirements, and relevant legislation and industry standards

Entry Requirements

Age 

Minimum Age 18 Years old

An upper-intermediate level of English is required. Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test to be passed at an AQF level 3. 

Education and Experience

One of the following: 

- Year 10 or equivalent 2 years' work experience

OR 

- Mature aged

OR 

- Completion of Certificate II or higher 

Student Evidence 

Evidence of any of the below:

  • Australian citizenship;
  • Permanent Australian residency; or
  • Temporary Australian residency with a valid visa, other than the student visa, to study and work in Australia.

Students will be required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) which is a reference number that creates an online record of a student’s training and qualifications attained in Australia.

Language, Literacy, Numeracy

Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test is required prior to enrolment as part of the course entry process which will assist the college to determine the level of support the student will need to successfully complete their learning.
