In the Business Operations Management Skill Set (BSBSS00101), you will learn how to effectively provide high level administrative, strategic planning and operational support. 

You will develop and implement administrative, financial and operational procedural statements and guidelines for use by staff. 

This skill set prepares you to master the tactical coordination of resources, risk mitigation, and financial planning to ensure an organisation's daily operations run efficiently.

In the Business Operations Management Skill Set, you will gain knowledge and skills from the following core units:

  1. BSBSTR503 - Develop organisational policy: research, develop, and review organisational policies. 
  2. BSBOPS601 - Develop and implement business plans: gain the skills and knowledge required to lead a business operation that covers the steps required to develop and implement business plans. 
  3. BSBFIN501 - Manage budgets and financial plans: gain the skills and knowledge required to undertake financial management in an organisation or work area
  4. BSBOPS501 - Manage business resources: manage resources according to planned business strategies. 
  5. BSBOPS504 - Manage business risk: manage business risks in a range of contexts across an organisation or for a specific business unit or area in any industry setting.

Minimum age 18 years old

Education & Experience

There are no formal entry requirements to this skill set

An upper-intermediate level of English is required. Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test to be passed at an AQF level 3. 

Student Evidence 

Evidence of any of the below:

  • Australian citizenship;
  • Permanent Australian residency; or
  • Temporary Australian residency with a valid visa, other than the student visa, to study and work in Australia.

Students will be required to provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) which is a reference number that creates an online record of a student’s training and qualifications attained in Australia.

 

Language, Literacy, Numeracy

Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test is required prior to enrolment as part of the course entry process which will assist the college to determine the level of support the student will need to successfully complete their learning.
