Our student clinic have been designed to provide professional medical aesthetic treatments to the public. Additionally it provides the best opportunity for our students to achieve professional clinical and practical results. Our rooms are fully functioning professional medical aesthetic  clinics, staffed with qualified Dermal Therapists, Nurses and Doctors. Clients can attend clinics to recieve all of our advanced medical aesthetic treatments and know that they are in the hands of true professionals.

Advanced Microdermabrasion
This is an advanced treatment, it is excellent for treating; mild to moderate acne, blackheads, pigmentation, fine lines and in
particular is ideal as a treatment for acne scarring or other mild facial scarring.

Glycolic Peels
Glycolic peels work by exfoliating the superficial top layer of the skin, this stimulates collagen growth. This mild peel is especially good for treating blocked pores, blackheads, treats mild to moderate acne. It is a good introduction to chemical peels and can provide nice results for  fine lines, pigmentation and mature sun damaged skins.

Jessner’s Peels
This type of peel is stronger than a glycolic peel and recommended for acne/oily skin, enlarged pores, pigmentation, fine lines and sun damage. A series excellent peel for ageing skin and those that suffer from acne.

TCA Peels
TCA (12%) is our strongest peel and is recommended for lighter/fairer skin types with mild to
severe sun damage.

IPL Hair Reduction
This treatment permanently reduces unwanted hair. A recommended candidate for this treatment
would have medium to dark hair and a medium to fair skin type.

IPL Photo Rejuvenation
IPL photo rejuvenation is the gold standard for treatment of sun damage and pigmentation (in
particular sun spots and freckles).

ABOUT OUR STUDENTS AND HOW TO USE OUR CLINIC

Our students study a number of nationally accredited medical aesthetics qualifications which include the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science’s, Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science and the Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing. Our students already have a pre-requisite qualification as a Doctor, Nurse or Beauty Therapist. Through their advanced studies, they are learning the skills required to work within a cosmetic medical or advanced aesthetics clinic. Our student clinics are scheduled to suit their assessment requirements and therefore bookings to attend them are completed by clients months in advance, these are heavily discounted aesthetic treatments.
Students undertake practical training in the following areas:

  • Microdermabrasion
  • Glycolic Peels
  • Jessner’s Peels
  • TCA Peels
  • IPL Photo Rejuvenation
  • IPL Hair Reduction

How to use the Student Clinic

1. If you would like to use the student clinic, when you call to book an appointment you will be transferred to a student coordinator. You must specify which dermal therapy(ies) you wish to have.

2. When we are scheduling student clinics and an appointment becomes available we will contact you. Once we have booked an appointment for you, please provide us with plenty of notice if you cannot keep your appointment as students are required to complete a number of assessment’s including your treatment within a given timeframe to successfully complete their qualification.

3. Bookings are taken up to three months in advance so it is recommended that if you require multiple treatments that you book ahead.

4. To secure your appointment a $45 deposit is required using either your Credit/Debit card over the phone or arranging a deposit by other means, bookings should not be considered secured unless a deposit has been made. The deposit fee is deducted from your treatment when you attend the clinic, and is only refundable if we are contacted by phone to cancel your appointment at a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time.

5. We may call you prior to your appointment to confirm it. If you do not answer we will leave a message if you have a message facility available. The reminder service that we provide is not guaranteed and at all times the appointment is the responsibility of the client.

6. For the majority of appointments attended at a student clinic you will be seeing a different student. Therefore you will need to complete a New Patient Questionnaire every time you visit.

7. While our student clinic prices are heavily discounted, you can also book for all of the same treatments to be delivered by our fully qualified Cosmetic Dermal Therapists and IPL operators.

8. Our payment facilities are EFTPOS or CASH only. (We do not charge a fee for credit cards use)
